The Pure Air Systems, Inc. HEPA PLUS units (ALL MODELS) can be installed in a partial by-pass mode or a 100% air-flow mode when using the HEPA 1200HS air filters or HEPA 2000HS units when matching volume CFM to CFM. You also have the option of using the VCU/DCU variable speed controller for the 100% air-flow configurations.

ADAPTING THE NEW GE ECM VARIABLE SPEED MOTORS AND CONTROLLERS FOR EXISTING HEPA SINGLE SPEED SYSTEMS
For those customers currently using our single speed HEPA 600HS air filter systems and HEPA 1200HS units, you now have the option of converting those units to the PLUS versions using the new GE ECM motors. The HEPA 600HS uses the 1/3 HP ECM motor and the HEPA 1200HS uses the 3/4 HP ECM motor.
For applications where the unit is being used in conjunction with a heating/cooling system, the HVAC controller version is recommended. For those applications where the unit is being used or needs to be installed in a stand-alone configuration, the VCU/DCU controllers are recommended.
It is easy to convert the HEPA air filters units from the single speed motors to the variable speed motors. Prices range from $395.00 to $495.00 for the kits. All materials needed for the conversions are included. Detailed installation instructions are provided with each kit.
