HVAC CONTROLLER FOR USE WHEN ATTACHING THE PLUS UNITS TO EITHER AN HVAC UNIT OR WHEN OPERATING UNITS WITH THERMOSTAT CONTROL
The Pure Air Systems, Inc. HEPA PLUS units (ALL MODELS) can be installed in a partial by-pass mode or a 100% air-flow mode when using the HEPA 1200HS or HEPA 2000HS units when matching volume CFM to CFM. You also have the option of using the VCU/DCU variable speed controller for the 100% air-flow configurations.
INFRARED REMOTE CONTROLLER SENDER AND RECEIVER
The Infrared Remote unit can be mounted on any of the HEPA PLUS versions. This controller is accurate up to 30 feet or more. The hand-held controller allows for incremental speed adjustment as well as on and off functions. A speed save function is also included. Receiver is mounted on an outside panel of the unit.
PLUS RETROFIT KITS FOR 600HS AND 1200HS UNITS
ADAPTING THE NEW GE ECM VARIABLE SPEED MOTORS AND CONTROLLERS FOR EXISTING SINGLE SPEED SYSTEMS
For those customers currently using our single speed HEPA 600HS and HEPA 1200HS units, you now have the option of converting those units to the PLUS versions using the new GE ECM motors. The HEPA 600HS uses the 1/3 HP ECM motor and the HEPA 1200HS uses the 3/4 HP ECM motor.
For applications where the unit is being used in conjunction with a heating/cooling system, the HVAC controller version is recommended. For those applications where the unit is being used or needs to be installed in a stand-alone configuration, the VCU/DCU controllers are recommended.
It is easy to convert the units from the single speed motors to the variable speed motors. Prices range from $295.00 to $395.00 for the kits. All materials needed for the conversions are included. Detailed installation instructions are provided with each kit.
