The home air purifiers and home air cleaners series includes the 600 HEPA Shield, the first whole-house TRUE HEPA filtration system. By utilizing the efficiency of the HEPA air filters, the HEPA 600HS has adopted the same filtration effectiveness as required in hospital surgery rooms, clean rooms, and other applications where the removal of harmful respirable particles (less than 1 micron in size) are necessary.
The HEPA 600 Home air purifiers and cleaners series come in two basic configurations: standard with traditional electric motors and the PLUS systems featuring G.E. ECM Variable Speed, low energy use motors. These home air purifiers and air cleaners PLUS systems offer TRUE 21st Century digital motor technology that is unavailable in any other whole-house filtration system. The PLUS home air filters systems come in two versions, the PLUS HVAC with pre-programmed G.E. MODEL 600 Hepa Shield “S” VERSION
Since 1985, Pure Air Systems, Inc. has been providing the commercial, institutional, and residential markets with commercial quality and high performance HEPA based air filtration systems. We are expanding our product line by the addition of our new 600HS “S” version Hepa Shield system. The 600HS “S” is a variation to our best selling 600HS unit. The new 600HS “S” unit is a horizontal system comprised of two sections, a blower/motor section and the HEPA, prefilter, carbon section, and produces up to 600 CFM. The “S” version or “straight through” airflow version can be applied to a wide variety of filtration requirements where a horizontal configuration is needed (including partial bypass). This is especially true for ceiling mounted (both above and below) and in-line applications for commercial and institutional HEPA filter requirements. The 600HS “S” unit can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
STANDARD AND PLUS VERSIONS
The 600HS “S” unit can be ordered with either the standard, single speed 1/3 HP GE induction motor, or in the PLUS version with the GE ECM variable speed 1/3 HP motor. The PLUS version offers a number of control options: A.) HVAC controller for use with heating/cooling systems, or B.) LED digital speed controller for true variable speed control (from 10% to 100% in 1% increments) for use in stand-alone applications. The speed controller can be mounted in the unit, in the door of the unit, or as a wired remote unit.
