In the song “White Rabbit” but Jefferson Airplane, Grace Slick sings about a smoking caterpillar that approaches Alice. The caterpillar is called a hookah. I don’t believe that is the name of the caterpillar as a hookah is actually the water pipe he was smoking. But the lyrics make more sense with that sentence structure. It is interesting how we often sing song lyrics and never pay attention to the meaning or even if a word is correctly used in the lyrics.

Sometimes companies use words in their marketing propaganda or as part of their packaging that are, ,more often than not, misleading.  The words absolutely or guaranteed are used to express a sense of perceived satisfaction that the customer will experience when they use the product. But we know that is not often the case. Yet companies still use this marketing process to garner more business and hopefully new customers.

One of the main challenges with raising expectations for one’s product or service is the delivery. That is, if you promise one thing, but deliver another,  the customer will probably not purchase that product or service again. Funny how companies still believe that words have more power than performance. It is also a big mistake to mislead people as the use of social media now has so much power that one bad experience can be pushed to hundreds of thousands of people in a matter of minutes.

Pure Air Systems has been manufacturing and marketing HEPA based, fan powered air filtration systems since 1985 and since the beginning it has marketed its line of commercial grade filtration systems as ” The Best Filtration Systems In The Market”.  Performance has always been its main promise and through its 30 years life has consistently performed at or above the expectations of its customers. Using the more expensive, commercial grade components, keeps PAS in the lead in the area of high performing HEPA systems.

Over the years PAS has added more products to its line, all of them using the same high performance components and fabrication techniques to ensure that customers buying any one of the systems would be completely satisfied with the product and its performance.
