These are coconut shell-based carbon filters that are used as our standard filter in our 1200/2000HS Plus series units. Carbon is one of the most widely used materials for the adsorption of the majority of gases, VOCs, and odors.

1200HS/2000HS Series Carbon Filter Replacement Guidelines:

• Residential: Every 9 months
• Commercial: Every 4 months
• Chemically sensitive customers: Use the commercial guidelines
